The Caloocan City Treasury Department has implemented a new system wherein electronic official receipts will be issued for business and real property taxes paid by business owners and residents online.
Caloocan City Mayor Dale Gonzalo"Along" Malapitan urged the residents to use the online payment system and reassured his constituents that all taxes, whether paid in person or online, go towards programs that will benefit people living in the city.“Makakaasa po kayo na ang lahat ng buwis na ibinabayad ninyo ay sinisiguro natin na napupunta sa mga proyekto at programang binibigyang prayoridad ang mabilis na pag-unlad ng Lungsod ng Caloocan ,” the Mayor added.
City Treasurer Ms. Analiza Mendiola said that the e-OR system is in line with Mayor Along's objective of making the local government operations quicker and more effective in order to better serve the requirements of the public. More payment services, such as the payment of fines for infractions of the Single-Ticketing System, will be covered by the issuance of e-OR in the future.
