Of the FTSE 100 constituents, food retail company Ocado Group PLC OCDO, +5.45% saw the largest increase Tuesday, as shares increased 5.45%.

Rolls-Royce Holdings PLC RR, +4.88%, an aerospace products/parts company, and containers/packaging business Smurfit Kappa Group PLC SKG, +4.45% rounded out the top five largest increases as their stocks increased 4.88% and 4.45%, respectively. Shares of closed-end funds firm Pershing Square Holdings Ltd. UK:PSH and restaurants company Compass Group PLC CPG, -0.10% declined 0.13% and 0.10%, respectively.

The pound was up 0.06% against dollar GBPUSD, +0.15% at $1.2610 and was down 0.22% against the euro GBPEUR, -0.17% at €1.1622.
