Focus may return to O&G stocks, says analyst

KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia trended positive in the early morning session today as investors reacted strongly to a slew of US economic data.

He said sentiments should also be boosted by China’s move to cut its reserve requirement ratio by 25 basis points, injecting around US$69 billion to aid its recovery. “Investors’ focus may return to oil and gas stocks as the oil benchmark Brent crude surged past US$93 per barrel in view of the supply shortfall,” he told Bernama.
