U.K. stocks break two-day climbing streak

Of the FTSE 100 constituents, chemicals company Croda International PLC CRDA, -7.32% saw the largest drop Monday, as shares declined 7.32%

Spirax-Sarco Engineering PLC SPX, -4.16%, a technical services company, and air freight firm International Distribution Services PLC IDS, -3.93% rounded out the top five largest decreases as their stocks shed 4.16% and 3.93%, respectively. Shares of major oil & natural gas companies firm BP PLC BP, +2.91% and major oil & natural gas companies company Shell PLC SHEL, +2.61% rallied 2.91% and 2.61%, respectively.

The pound was down 0.30% against dollar GBPUSD, -0.29% at $1.2202 and was up 0.16% against the euro GBPEUR, +0.16% at €1.1577.
