Police management in the Pixley Ka Seme District welcomes the murder and business burglary sentences recently handed down in the De Aar Regional Court.
The incident took place in Sunrise on 21 August 2021 at about 19:25 when the accused went to Patrick Samson’s house and fatally stabbed him in the chest after an altercation. In a separate incident in De Aar, Mietjie Steenkamp stabbed her husband Piet America under his ear after an argument. Reagen Davids was handed down 5 years imprisonment in the De Aar Regional Court for a business burglary at a petrol station in De Aar.
