Since coming into office 18 months ago, the current administration set out three top priorities, stabilising city finances, improving the delivery of basic services to residents and driving energy independence. The City’s spokesperson Sipho Stuurman says, “The Executive Mayor wants to make it very clear to our residents that he remains committed to his job and that he remains committed to delivering services to the communities in the city and he will continue to defend the progress that this administration has been able to achieve over the past 18 months.”
“The Mayor is not distracted by the political challenges and he remains committed to the City of Tshwane,” Stuurman adds.
