Kobalt has signed an exclusive administration deal with international media collective and record label 88Rising for all global territories excluding China, the company announced Tuesday . The partnership will include exclusive creative, sync and world rights for future 88rising signees, as well as catalog and futures for 88Rising’s roster, which includes Joji, Rich Brian, NIKI and The Higher Brothers. AUGUST 08's work is not part of the new arrangement.

“To see how much of an impact they’ve had -- in terms of diversity and relatability within the industry -- in just 4 years is astounding, said, vp creative at Kobalt. “Myself and others at Kobalt have been big believers in the quality and expansiveness of their roster from the beginning. I can only imagine what the future holds for them and we’re proud to be a part of it.”in 2015 and has since become a leader in breaking Asian acts with Western audiences.
