The setup favors buttons, knobs, and switches. As much as I admire Tesla's Model 3 and its radical elimination of most buttons, knobs, switches, and gauges — placing them instead in a central touchscreen interface — I've also dealt with enough similar system to know that they're a mixed bag.
The 10-inch touchscreen is the perfect size. It's also crisply responsive, with functions that are well-organized.However, it's what we find below the touchscreen that truly makes the difference. Yes, other automakers mimic this set-up. But Kia's designers have thought everything through.Business Insider
Overwhelmingly, I prefer throwback arrangements of buttons, switches, and knobs. These are the safest and easiest to use, even if they offer"hard" redundancy to some of the virtual stuff that's accessible via the touchscreen.
That looks like how a car 10 years ago would look like. If you prioritize this sort of thing, you can just buy a car from 2010. No, I don’t like all touchscreen controls, but in this picture, it’s just too many buttons and knobs. Almost like it doesn’t have new tech in it.

With a sweet car like this you’re gonna be a businessoutsider, cause of all the driving, and dial tuning for AM radio shows, so much industry leading here, I can’t
Groundbreaking, cutting edge - Kia installed a tape deck & CB radio for me too, I wish every automaker would follow kia’s lead in delivering knobs and switches to the consumer for the foreseeable future - don’t forget that crisp petrol smell, I use it as cologne, keep innovating
