Bright Health's massive financing round yet again signals that the health insurance sector is a funding hotbed:

Despite uncertainty surrounding the future of health insurance in the US, we think we'll continue to see top health insurance startups shine and attract investor attention.

And, if Medicare for All doesn't end up coming to fruition in the next several years, complaints about the private insurance market at large could usher in increased uptake of these insurtechs' services. We think investors won't shy away from the sector in the year ahead, and we'll continue to see startups operating in the insurance space raking in some of the largest funding deals.
