Delta Pride says it will work together with TAR UC to provide more electricity to the hostel and improve WiFi coverage at the canteen. FMTNews TARUC

The TAR UC Association of New Youth student group has complained that the students’ hostel at the main campus in Kuala Lumpur lacks facilities.

It said this was despite Delta Pride Sdn Bhd making more than RM1 million in profits last year by managing the hostel at the MCA-owned TAR UC. “Our company recognises how important internet connections are. We promise to gradually improve the network coverage in future,” said Delta Pride in a statement today.

This could only be resolved by upgrading the hostel’s electricity substation or installing solar panel facilities, both of which would incur high costs.
