Hordes of tourists have flocked to take selfies outside the six-bedroom Grade 1 listed house in Lavenham, Suffolk, but potential buyers have yet to snap it up

The house where Lord Voldemort murdered Harry Potter's parents in the final film has failed to sell after spending two years on the market.

However, despite coaches packed with Hogwarts fans regularly arriving, potential buyers have not been flooding owners Tony and Jane Ranzetta with offers. "You are taking on something so special with this house, which is possibly why it hasn't sold yet," said Caroline Edwards, the selling agent from the Carter Jonas estate agency.

No actors filmed at the house, with shots instead being converted into computer generated images and used as backdrops in studio shots.
