A night vigil will be held at 7 o’clock on Thursday night at a restaurant in Melville, Johannesburg, where a deadly shooting occurred on New Year’s Eve.Flowers are being laid outside the scene of the killing. Many patrons in shock over the tragic incident.
Police are still investigating what led to the deadly shooting. There’s much speculation whether this was a hit. Earlier Gauteng Police Commissioner Elias Mawela refuted allegations that police did not respond swiftly to the incident.Mawela says investigations are continuing and police are following up on a number of leads regarding the incident.
