Amazon waffle maker allegedly arrives with old waffle still inside - Business Insider

A family says they got more than they bargained for when they ordered a waffle maker through Amazon.

On December 26, Brian McCarthy tweeted that his mother had send his daughter a new waffle maker for the holidays. McCarthy wrote that the family found a gross surprise inside.McCarthy said that the product in question was a turquoise mini Baby Cakes Waffle Stick Maker. The item has appeared on Amazon since December 2, 2013 and is manufactured by Select Brands Inc.

An Amazon spokesperson told Business Insider that it is still investigating the situation. Amazon's customer service Twitter account also responded to McCarthy's tweet on December 26, providing him with a link to arrange a follow-up with customer support. He said that he forwarded the link to his mother, but that she hasn't "heard anything further from Amazon."

Stop ordering stuff. Go to the store & look at items feel the weight the material see the workmanship B4 u put your money on it. Oh sry forgive me I'm old school & believe in seeing my hard earned money & getting the best of wht that money is paying for. Sry ignore me.
