“By resuscitating her, it not only gave her a chance of survival, but also allowed the family to say goodbye to Mdm Goh,” the Facebook appeal said.

The family of a woman who died after a Bedok traffic incident two months ago is looking for the samaritan who apparently resuscitated her for a few hours before she succumbed to her injuries, a post on automotive page Motorist.sg said yesterday.

The deceased’s daughter wants to express her gratitude over the Nov. 15 incident, which happened in the morning at a junction along Bedok North Avenue 2, according to the post. It included a photo purportedly showing where it took place, with a police sign announcing a crash had occurred involving a van and cyclist. “She was resuscitated by a young man via CPR, but unfortunately, Mdm Goh succumbed to head injuries two hours later at the hospital,” the post said.

“By resuscitating her, it not only gave her a chance of survival, but also allowed the family to say goodbye to Mdm Goh,” it added. Family members learned about the samaritan only a few weeks ago, according to a separate online message by the victim’s daughter Serine Wee on Dec. 21. “Whoever you are, could you kindly send me a private message? I want you to know that our family is eternally grateful for your act of kindness. May God bless you and your family,” she wrote.
