Therefore, it’s essentially physically impossible. But more importantly, I think, is just that it shows that the position that Royal Caribbean is taking is untrue.

Cruise windows are normally filthy (salt, sea spray, elements etc.) despite the best efforts of the crew to clean them at each port. So spotting an open window would be one of the easier tasks, I would have thought.
