CBN Mobilises 140,848 Tomato Farmers for Anchor Borrowers Programme

The Central Bank of Nigeria has mobilised and validated 140,848 tomato farmers for the Anchor Borrowers Programme.

The company has 500 hectares of land with the potential to cultivate tomatoes of 400 hectares and it is expected to begin production in 2021. “We are also partnering with other big players in the tomato value chain like Dangote Tomato Processing Ltd, Sonia Foods, GB Foods , Vegefresh Company Ltd and a host of others.
