Salahuddin: Ministry directs strict checks on China food products at entry points

Minister Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub said although Malaysia did not import any food products from Wuhan, China, which is associated with the outbreak of the 2019 novel coronavirus, and there was no evidence indicating the spread of the epidemic through food, however, security controls and inspections should be carried out as a precautionary measure.

The partnership offers micro-financing worth RM100 million to Bottom 40 micro-entrepreneurs in the agricultural and agro-based sectors. The financing investment allocated by the oil and gas company will be disbursed over five years and managed by Agrobank’s B40 micro-financing facilities programmes.
