Away, Into The Gloss and ForbesUnder30 alum raised $1.7 million to launch clean hair care basics company Crown Affair

28-year-old Dianna Cohen wants to reinvent your post-shower ritual. With luscious locks, the most coveted startup founders as mentors and the idea that good hair should be easy, she’s launching Crown Affair today: a line of haircare basics—sold relatively affordably DTC—for use before your mirror even defogs.

“So many hair care companies are like, ‘Here’s how to achieve Saoirse Ronan’s hair at the Golden Globes.’ I’m like, ‘Dude, it’s a Wednesday; I’m not doing that,’” says 28-year-old Cohen. “Why aren’t people talking about their hair in a normal way and sharing stories with each other?” "Dianna [Cohen] is an authentic and passionate founder, solving a real need in an industry that needs disrupting,” says Zak. “Crown Affair is coupling community building with innovative products to create a best-in-class experience for their customers, and I'm proud to be an investor."
