Any film that recaptures the era of Hullaballoo deserves to be the best picture. Once Go Go boots were the height of fashion, and the age of Sunset Strip was the source of many songs - For What Its Worth, Once Upon a Time is THE BEST MOVIE.

I like Brad Pitt ... but I don't like Leonardo DiCaprio.
How many got the joke of seeing Brad Pitt & his hero *pit* bull costar. That nasty can of dog food played a key part when it hit Manson’s robot girl. Too bad it didn’t happen that way.
There is nothing worthy of any award in this overly white, loosely scripted, confuse-if-not-convinced & stitched period drama (with a ‘calculated’ aging cast & a new found Hollywood muse w/ 0 acting skills)...The film lacks cohesion & pupose integral to effective story telling..
This film blew my mind. I watched it again after it was over. (Downloaded from Amazon) on New Year's Eve. I was in my 20's in 1969, born and raised in California. So knowing what was happening was very dramatic.
Might have been a better film if Tarantino had bothered to write a plot/part/character for the Sharon Tate character though. The ability to look good in a mini skirt appeared to be the primary characteristic he wanted to articulate.

The only reason scenes ‘stay with you for days’ is because it feels like this film lasts that long

So according to this article, the fix is in. Bias will make it so that OnceUponATimeInHollywood wins Best Picture at the oscars because it's American, not because it actually IS the best picture. Ok. Well, It wasn't that good.
It's a good film, but nothing on the masterpiece that is JOKER

Love me some Tarantino, but Joker should win hands down. Far superior story and performance from lead.
