BERLIN: The organisers of a major telecoms industry conference in Barcelona at the end of this month said on Friday it would still go ahead, as Ericsson of Sweden become the second major exhibitor to pull out due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Telecoms industry group GSMA regretted Ericsson's decision, saying it would have an impact on the Mobile World Congress that is due to be held from Feb. 24-27."It is of great importance to the GSMA to continue to convene the industry at this critical time where connectivity is on the cusp of a new industrial revolution," the group said in a statement.
