Media 'will use coronavirus as a weapon against Trump' | Sky News Australia

Sky News host Paul Murray says the "coronavirus will be weaponised by people in the United States to have a go at Trump" and his presidency. President Trump has received some criticism for his response to the coronavirus threat in America, with a piece in The New York Times dubbing the disease 'Trumpvirus'.

"It has been absolutely shameful how the media has almost been cheering on the virus," Sky News host Rita Panahi said. They have been "cheering on the share market crashing" but have "ignored" market gains she said.
