The company have also cancelled some meetings within Ireland

A Cork branch of an International engineering company have enforced a worldwide travel ban due to Coronavirus fears.

Workers at the firm travel frequently to meet clients however trips have now been restricted to critical meetings with all other business being carried out virtually. Even churches are imposing restrictions on parishioners being asked to wash their hands before going to Mass and regularly throughout the day, and people who have flu-like symptoms have been asked to stay at home.

In Clonakilty meanwhile, "The Sign of Peace will be given in prayer only and "there will be no shaking of hands". A message from Clonakilty Parish adds that "The priest greeting people after Mass will not shake hands with members of the congregation."
