A statement issued by the National Broadcasting Commission yesterday in Abuja disclosed that while 43 companies were granted FM radio broadcasting licences, eight others got campus FM radio broadcasting licences; one

community FM radio broadcasting licence and 13 free-view digital terrestrial television licences.Among the beneficiaries of the new radio licences were the Nigeria Police Force and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.
