Saudi Arabia doesn't realize the games it's playing with the stock market will lead to its own downfall

, once affectionately known to American elites as “MBS”, cost stock holders about 8 per cent of our net worth over a gambit to boost oil production and flood world oil markets with crude — a move oil-producing nations have tried before, failed at, and will fail at again.. If not for the simultaneous worldwide furor over coronavirus, we’d probably remember it better, and we’d have understood faster that this is a tactic Saudi Arabia is employing out of weakness, not strength.

They need money and quick. Forseen the low demand on oil due to Corona virus in the coming months. Otherwise they will be sitting in tonnes of oil with no buyer. Worst than seeling on a low.

BelaGalb9o0o9 I can't see the point that he is trying to make, non of what he wrought is accurate just a bunch of BS remember the production is up from 9mil to 12,3mil agian FakeNews

Saudi own half of London

Wouldn't that be a shame.

Just shows how thick MBS really is!

Is good for the consumer’s , the price is down at the pump . Who cares!

Remember seeing the 'break even' prices for OPEC countries, which is net production plus required to support their bureaucracies. It was truly awesome, forget the Saudi one, but think it was in the 70s. Just looked at Aramco's market cap, looks like close to half a trillion

Is that even correct? I read Saudi Arabia break even at $35 a barrel yesterday not $80, which seems more plausible...

This's the result of US support , US is a factory for dictatorship & warcrimnals , look to Yemen 5 years Us supporting Saudi coalition who committing daily warcrimes and genocides killing tens of thousands of Innocents civilians . It's US made

Inch'Allah!!

the arabas aren't stupid of course they no what they are doing

OPEC it in would ya!

Seriously? That’s you take on the whole oil issue?! Come on? Does Putin realize what his Russian roulette is doing to the markets and the global economy?

Like they probably wouldn't even notice losing a 1/2 Billion!?

Good its monarchy deserve to see chop chop square themselves

Its non of your business don't make such fake news

I hope there will be no country named Arabia on earth. Dirty ingrates!

They are mad
