Cloudera stock surges 15% after results, outlook top Street view

shares rallied in the extended session Tuesday after the cloud data company's results and outlook topped Wall Street estimates. Cloudera shares surged 15% after hours, following a 7.8% rise in the regular session to close at $7.85. The company reported a fourth-quarter loss of $64.3 million, or 22 cents a share, compared with $85.5 million, or 45 cents a share, in the year-ago period. Adjusted earnings were 4 cents a share. Revenue rose to $211.7 million from $144.
