Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-Ill.) and Rep. Joe Neguse (D-Colo.) also plan to co-sponsor the bill, which comes in the wake of allegations that multiple senators profited off the COVID-19 pandemic by selling their stocks after attending closed-door briefings shortly before markets crashed.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and two of her House colleagues announced on Monday plans to introduce a bill that would bar members of Congress from trading individual stocks.

"Members of Congress should not be allowed to buy and sell individual stock," said Ocasio-Cortez in areached out to Ocasio-Cortez for additional comment but did not receive a response in time for publication.

does she have her windmills and uaw bargaining rights in there that is also not important. and you have to protect us with things like was she is talking about and companies have to have conditions on loans.
