Former African National Congress Western Cape Chairperson Marius Fransman says he’s tested positive for the coronavirus. Fransman says he hasn’t been feeling well since his return from abroad two weeks ago. CoronavirusInSA sabcnews

Fransman was accused of sexual assault in 2016, but the NPA withdrew the charges citing lack of evidence.

He says he decided to do a test last week Monday in line with health protocols. Fransman says after waiting for a week for his results, they came back positive for the virus. The pair tested positive after coming into contact with five foreigners at a religious event in the Free State earlier this month.
