Hundreds of caged dogs, cats and rabbits are found dead in abandoned Pakistan pet markets due to coronavirus lockdown

Animal activists discovered 70% of pets at Empress Market, Karachi, dead. The markets were closed amid a two-week lockdown in a bid to stop Covid-19. Some pet shop owners resorted to sneaking in at night to try to feed them.
