Some residents in the Vhembe district in Limpopo have expressed appreciation at government’s efforts for distributing water tankers to water-scarce villages.

Several people in various parts of the province are still faced with the challenge of accessing clean drinking water.in Limpopo have expressed appreciation at government’s efforts for distributing water tankers to water-scarce villages.

A Dzwerani-Maematshena resident says: “The solution in this village is to connect the reservoir that is in our neighboring village. We want to comply with the call from the President and stay indoors but without water, it is impossible. Before you bring that temporary solution we have a permanent solution that is to connect the reservoir that is less than 10 kilometers.

However the Chairperson of the Pro-Makhado Task Team in Ha-Masakona, Ndivhuwo Mashego, says some residents are making the contributions willingly. “We have made arrangements with the councillor who told us that we will get water tankers that will be helpful in the village because residents do not have water, they can’t even wash hands to combat the spread of the virus.”

So now the government is able to supply water during normal days just its not something they are willing to do? Poor fellow citizens our government can just it does not want to deliver what their people deserve

When will that happen here in Eastern Cape especially in Unquma d/m?

Vhembe District Municipality lied to people for morethan 10 years now about supply water from Nandoni dam... They are busy with dirty politics and tribalism

This trucks owners will always say the truck is broken but the tender pays them. Come to rama city in tshwane you'll see how empty the tanks are HealthZA LindiweSisuluSA

Why can't they to it all the time why does it take a virus for them to do something, useless corrupt government

Question is for how long will that water be delivered? And will it be used to steal tax? Will it be used to enrich those who are politically connected? Just wondering. 😭😭

Thanks corona

28 wasted years under ANC. So they have the tank. Who is going to fill it with the water?! For how long? Can see that gogo on the tv saying eish the tank she is empty. No water. We get water from the river again... typical black african mentality.

Good for them, yet Ga-sekhukhune we are still drinking water with animals......

Thanks to Corona virus

We also hv dis water tank enkomazi

I also would like to congratulate and give a special thanks to Makhado municipality. They have supplied us with water with rapidity this month job well done

So is possible for them to deliver in a normal situation but they dnt want ?

lol took them a whole pandemic to something they could have one years back. but non the less, THANK YOU.
