Trump says Cuomo has been 'calling daily' begging for federal coronavirus aid - Business Insider

Cuomo has asked the federal government to help assist his state fight the spread of COVID-19, though"It is essential that the federal government works with this state," Cuomo said at a press conference last month. "We cannot do this on our own."

But Trump took to Twitter on Tuesday to air his grievances, claiming that Cuomo has been begging him daily for supplies. "Cuomo's been calling daily, even hourly, begging for everything, most of which should have been the state's responsibility, such as new hospitals, beds, ventilators, etc.," Trump wrote onTrump and Cuomo have been sparring for weeks about how to tackle New York's mounting coronavirus crisis.

"If he ordered me to reopen in a way that would endanger the public health of the people of my state, I wouldn't do it," Cuomo said on Tuesday

It is hard to believe that the state with one of the largest cities in the US, massive earnings, and wealth is reaching to the federal government to support it. It sounds like the Governor needs to get this house in order.
