In a series of tweets early Thursday, Musk asked Newsom to"please fix this misunderstanding" after the governor's office told CNN the state's hospitals had not received ventilators promised last month by the Tesla CEO. Included in the tweets from Musk was a partial list of hospitals that he said had been sent ventilators.

"In patients with acute respiratory failure, it may be prudent to proceed directly to endotracheal intubation, because non-invasive ventilation may increase the risk of infectious transmission," it says.
