Carnehill Joinery, which is based in Scotstown, has also created an air purifying system which it says kills airborne bacteria.
Barry Cremin, Sales Manager with Carnehill Joinery, said the government guidelines indicate that contact transmission has a massive part in the spread of Covid-19 and other viruses we might face down the line. "While our door handles are not the only anti-bacterial door handles on the Irish market, they are unique in that they are anti-bacterial and anti-viral" he said.
Not sure these are new, but well done. Nice to see Irish companies finding a market.
Will the DES fund these for schools?
Can I get one of them before the next election campaign
some stupid door handle is not going to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in schools. the teacher will most likely open the doors anyways. Schools seriously shouldn't be allowed back until a vaccine is made. If students and teachers go back, it puts EVERYTHING at risk. Heath! First!
Brilliant work 👏👏
