People want spending to be cut in response to the use of violent tactics that have resulted in the death of Floyd and other black Americans, as well as after police have used aggressive measures on protesters, such as the use of tear gas and rubber bullets.
Nobody needs the police more than the people of our inner cities. These new far left policies will destroy our inner cities as usual.
Minnesota spent so much and downtown Minneapolis wasn’t even safe before. I would pay more for it to be safer than it was. One problem is most of the offenders and victims of violent crime are not the ones actually paying taxes for the police.
