Boosting telemental health services is a smart bet for Sharecare, as it can bring in consumers amid the pandemic and retain their interest

Lesser-known virtual care companies have to contend with big-name telehealth vendors and the threat of big tech companies moving in on telehealth — so, we expect the likes of Sharecare to further diversify their products to remain competitive.

As these giant firms with consumer mindshare continue to dominate — or encroach upon — the virtual care space, we think smaller or lesser-known digital health companies will likely find themselves pressured to continue diversifying their portfolios to include a variety of remote healthcare services — like integrating chronic disease management platforms, for instance — in order to remain relevant and ultimately attract more clients.
