About 50% of the employers surveyed are looking to hire within three months after the MCO and 76% of companies are considering hiring new employees within six months of the post-MCO period.

Eighty-six per cent of companies said they are not considering any retrenchment plans, but will implement pay cuts.

These are the findings of a survey conducted by Jobstore.com. In its June survey – “Covid-19 Hiring Survey” – it attracted 6,682 responses from various industries, including healthcare, technology, professional services, entertainment, financial services, biotechnology, construction, logistics-shipping-transportation and real estate. This is its second such survey, its first was in April.
