Looking into the possibility of bringing in a four-day week was also a part of UK Labour’s pledges before the last general election in December. In a parliamentary question in late May, both Minister for Finance Paschal Donohoe and Minister for Business Heather Humphreys said their departments had done no research into the topic.
The minister added that while flexi-time was available across his department, this had been suspended in April due to the unprecedented impact of Covid-19 on normal working arrangements.
First it was 40 hour week to 39, then down to 37. The pay went down but the working week seems as long, now down to 4 day. Suits the likes of aldi only giving 30 hr contracts so never have to pay overtime rates when stuck
wickedfairysad they will never let you work only 4 days, thats not the idea of being a modern slave.
wickedfairysad And yet, no one in Brazil knows one single person with covid or that died from or with it ... Propaganda to scare people are not working, when the truth is out there in our faces. Brazil is fine, thank you.
