More Than 1,000 Zara Stores Are Closing

on Wednesday, June 10, Inditex confirmed that it now intends to shift its focus to online shopping. The company expects that by 2022, online sales will account for more than 25% of its profits. Currently, online sales account for 14% of its total profits.. With a quarter of its worldwide locations still closed, Inditex reported a recent loss of €409m between February and April.

In keeping with their planned online expansion, Inditex confirmed it will “increase the online customer service teams and the dedicated packaging both from the specific online stockrooms and from the stores.”
