KOTA KINABALU: A three-day visit to Sabah was an official Home Ministry function and nothing to do politics, says Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia secretary-general Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin .

“No politics, I went to visit the 'lorong-lorong tikus' into the country, what I know is that I’ve not met any rats during the three-days, ” he said when asked about talk of political crossovers in Sabah. There has been speculation in Sabah about imminent crossovers of assemblymen and MPs of the ruling state coalition government led by Parti Warisan Sabah president Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal whose party remains friendly with Pakatan Harapan.

“All of us must work together, all people living in Sabah must work together to catch the 'tikus-tikus' , and not 'politikus-politikus' ," he added.
