Buyout fund investors score some leverage on fees LiamWardProud

A June 10 study by Oxford University Professor Ludovic Phalippou concluded that private equity funds which raised $1.

7 trillion from investors between 2006 and 2015 generated an annualised return of 11% after fees, roughly the same as public stock markets. Phalippou estimated that the funds in question collected $230 billion in performance fees over the period.
