I agree. I work in a restaurant, customers too, complained about missing out on facial interaction. Anyone that thinks this goes at the risk of others is way too shallow-minded. Face masks don’t prevent anything and it has been proven so.

Are those attendants going to also get very high hazard pay and full coverage (regular tests for COVID-19, paid time off should they test positive for COVID-19, any/all medical costs, etc.)? Did the airline consider purchasing clear masks for them instead?
