The market capitalisation dipped N115 billion to close at N12.715 trillion against N12.830 trillion achieved on Wednesday.

The Nigerian Stock Exchange on Thursday reversed gains posted on the first trading day of the second half of the year, dropping 0.90 per cent.

In the same vein, the All-Share Index lost 220.65 points to close at 24,374.40 compared with 24,595.05 recorded on Wednesday. Conversely, Neimeth dominated the gainers’ chart in percentage terms, gaining 9.40 per cent, to close at N1.63, per share. Consequently, the total volume traded declined by 9.03 per cent as investors bought and sold 180.12 million shares, worth N1.85 billion traded in 3,889 deals.
