We would like to hear from business owners and people who have visited pubs and restaurants to tell us how reopening has been

Pubs, restaurants and hairdressers in England are some of the businesses that were able to reopen from 4 July. Other venues include cinemas, hairdressers and campsites. Weddings will also be able to go ahead and two households of any size will be able to meet indoors.

If there is a spike in 14 days then we will have the answer none of us want...But it could be a month or two if the death rate goes up because of it...Super Saturday by name only was always going to make it one big party !..A free for all !..

laughingginge Badly

laughingginge Exactly as expected - abysmally! But what would you expect with these arrogant, offensive truth-twisters?🙄

Stupid. Gyms.

About as well as dropping a lighted match in a barn full of straw, when the barn is surrounded by paper houses, each connected by a thin forest of dry pine trees, on a very hot day, with no access to water, anywhere. At a conservative estimate.

The R rate in London is above 1. After this weekend, I fully expect London to be locked down in 2 weeks.

You ll see how it went .... in 5-14 days

It is a mistake. The virus is still there. They now have more beds in the hospitals for those who get sick. Every country that lifted their lockdown now has more cases than before. This will not go away until they have a vaccine!

not too bad apart from London again

It’s two weeks too early to say.

I do not understand why no theatres being opened when pubs can be . Horrid being woken by drunken people walking down our road last night . Also why no financial support for the Arts but for failed app, repainted plane , and furlough for billionaires and multimillionaires .

Horrified my UK mother in law (almost 80) might go to the hairdresser: Here hairdresser+customer=masked. Face shields: briefly used by kindergarten staff-not anymore: They’re funnelling aerosols down onto someone who’s below you - i.e. kids(&presumably customers in chair)

With all the shit going on right now lets do it. Wipe out everyone and start again, maybe the second time we will get it right.

Shit!

Kept well away!
