The LinkedIn post that helped one laid-off engineer make 500 new connections and land a new job in just one month (by marykearl)

"For those unfamiliar with engineering interviews, there are typically around three to five technical rounds per on-site interview that will evaluate your skills as an engineer," Ngo said. "As important as it is to get an interview, it's just as essential, if not more, to be prepared and meet the company's technical bar."

At one point, he was juggling studying and remote interviews from hotels and Airbnbs, quarantining due to a roommate potentially having COVID-19. And that's what attracted Gutierrez, who was already connected to Ngo, to reach out about a role for a backend engineer she was recruiting for at the time.
