The White House is doubling down on Trump's payroll-tax cut proposal, even amid weak support from Senate Republicans

Yeah that’s going to be very helpful to all the unemployed people. Extend the $600 PUA! I don’t want to go homeless here in California.

it would benefit only those working and it wouldn't be much at all. Plus the government would be expecting it paid back at tax time next year anyway.

Leave payroll taxes alone. They’re meant to be used for government benefits.
