Voting by mail is the safest, easiest way to vote. Why are so many Republicans lying about it?

, Civic Ventures President Zach Silk and political strategist Cristina Uribe dig into vote-by-mail.

If you want to protect your vote in November, you need to reach out to your lawmakers right now to stress how crucial vote-by-mail is.Last weekend, we passed a milestone moment in the 2020 election cycle: We are now less than 100 days away from Tuesday, November 3 — Election Day. In normal years, this would be the time when the general public really starts tuning in to the messages both parties are running with, familiarizing themselves with the candidates, and deciding who gets their vote.

Two things we do know for sure as we head into the home stretch of this never-ending presidential campaign season: first, people need to vote on Election Day; and second, coronavirus won't disappear between now and then. Just as an economy is stronger when more people participate in it, a democracy is stronger when more people's voices are heard.

Who actually voted? My spouse, my child, who filled it in?

Easiest way to make fraud

Democrats preselect the choices.

Is aware of the very serious problems that NY had in June elections for Democratic primaries using mail in? Some of the elections are still not decided over a month later. There are problems with postmarking and other issues. Imagine the whole country like that

If you can riot in person, then you can vote in person - with ID.

Because due to the pandemic, the USPS is having problems delivering mail on time and it would be so easy for a worker to conveniently lose or misplace a few bags of ballots from a heavily Democratic or Republican zip code.

I think this article is missing the part where the post office has been struggling since COVID. They aren’t funded by the government sooo if they don't have the means, how are they supposed to do a great job on such an important matter.

Not safe

I wonder what the excuse will be when these mail in ballots don't elect Biden, the president supports.

Safest and easiest? Yes. Most reliable for deciding the leader of the free world? No.

Fake news

Chalk it up to yet another voter suppression tactic. The universal ballot marking devices are hacked/hackable. Paper ballots are not. Russian interference can do little to thwart the paper ballots.

Coronavirus will disappear before the election but media will try to keep it going.

Why was not this done in the recent past if it is the safest and the easiest? Have we been voting in a more difficult less safe way for decades and been quiet about it? How come?

The Post Office is a Joke

obvious answer: they want FEWER people to vote.

That is crap!

Many conservatives deal with facts and reality, but not these people. KathiValeii I completely agree. However, I do have to think about the fact that a) getting masks is an expense and as unemployment has skyrocketed, I’m not sure that expense should be on the citizen. B) any law/fine will undoubtedly affect communities of color and low income more KathiValeii Fines?! Nah, let's shot them!

This whole discourse has been a nightmare for those of us who rely on hydroxychloroquine daily to manage our debilitating autoimmune diseases. We’ve been dealing with shortages for months: Very reminiscent of the Soviet Union and the Nazi regime. What the powerful want to be true is what’s true. The incredibly expensive drug works. The very cheap one doesn’t. Epstein hung himself. The election was stolen from Hillary. Social distancing saves lives... But will the hydroxychloroqueen move on?
