Trump held a last-minute press conference and claimed expansive executive authority as coronavirus relief negotiations fall apart

US President Donald Trump speaks to the press before boarding Air Force One at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland on August 6, 2020.Trump held a last-minute press conference on Friday at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, and claimed to be ready to move forward with executive action on coronavirus relief.

"If Democrats continue to hold this critical relief hostage, I will act under my authority as president to get Americans the relief they need," Trump said. On Friday, stimulus negotiations between the White House and top congressional Democrats collapsed after two weeks of fruitless talks. Trump blasted House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, saying "they were only interested in Bailout Money for poorly run Democrat cities and states."His executive power varies with each priority.

Democrats have long sought to extend the $600 federal supplement through January. But Republicans wanted to cut it to a lower level.

I mean everyone one praised FDR for this and his expansion of executive powers paved the way

Trump always says I will act under my authority as president. But he is not the president of Russia. He has no authority and his stupidity sinks to a new level every day.

Let’s see how he helps Americans. Probably trying to cut payroll taxes for his rich buddies. Sometimes I get sad thinking about how stupid the gop foxnation demographic really is. Guys, ur getting fleeced. Wake up, please.

Anada fall of dollar.
