Ummm... he’s the finance minister. That’s his job. The point of having a cabinet is to have people advocate for the best interest of their own portfolio. When a stressor as big as COVID comes along, how could you NOT have tension within a responsible cabinet?

Of course he was. He is a centrist businessman after all. But his boss is the progressive boss. He has to follow or go.
