JOHANNESBURG - Former Finance Minister Des Van Rooyen has denied claims his appointment in December 2015 was meant to facilitate theft at Treasury on behalf of former President Jacob Zuma.Des van Rooyen testifies at state capture inquiry Commission Chair Raymond Zondo granted Van Rooyen permission to cross-examine former Treasury DG Lungisa Fuzile.
Fuzile has previously testified that Van Rooyen instructed him to appoint Gupta associates during his tenure at the Treasury.The inquiry continues on Wednesday.
