The strategies a 27-year-old freelancer used to build her income to over $350,000 a year on the freelancing platform Fiverr in 5 years

"That was when I started to see that I could push the $3,000 per month mark or even $4,000 per month," she said.

She called convincing clients to leave a good review "an art form," and started out by offering unlimited revisions to her clients to build good rapport. "It was so exciting to me that these people were writing to me and wanted to buy something from me," she said. "It was almost addicting. I was playing a game with myself, like how much could I scale my income?"

"It was my wake-up call that I needed to slow down," she said. "I needed to manage this a little better." She would also closely observe how her competitors were describing their services. "Do they call themselves a professional blogger, do they call themselves a writer? I would study all these little details and use them in my gig description," she added.

By 2018, she was able to shift most of her gigs under Fiverr Pro, and she made about $10,000 for the first time that January. According to Fasulo, her earning has increased consistently since and she's been able to offer more services. She earned about $20,000 that May and ended 2018 with about $270,000.Fasulo recommended being upfront with your buyers and upselling them to scale your business.
