New Yorkers are most likely to move to these 4 states next, UBS says

From 2010 to 2018, more than a million people moved from New York to four other states, according to a UBS report on the residential housing market.

From 2010 to 2018, 537,996 New York residents moved to Florida; 289,675 to California; 210,417 to Connecticut, and 183,635 to Massachusetts. "Interstate migration is by no means a new phenomenon, but it is likely to pick up steam as a result of COVID-19," it continued. Some suburban housing markets around the New York metro area have been on fire since the state began to open back up this summer., a broker based in Westchester County, New York, with more than two decades of experience and $350 million in total sales volume, told Business Insider last week that it's an unprecedented time in her region, with homes flying off the market and business going through the roof.
